Advanced Holistic Healing Arts believes that individuals may only reach their full potential through the integration of mind, body and spirit.  An emphasis is placed on assisting our students to integrate knowledge and skills using whole body learning techniques.

Advanced Massage for Clinical Practice
(300 hour program)

Clinical massage involves the manipulation of soft tissues to resolve acute and chronic pain and dysfunction. Clinical massage also stimulates and supports the therapist’s creativity and desire to be a truly effective healer, allowing the therapist to focus on the individual’s needs.

At Advanced Holistic Healing Arts, we have designed an advanced program that is targeted, comprehensive, and highly valuable. Our program, Advanced Massage for Clinical Practice, is designed to provide the background

The Adult Learning Facilitation and Theory Course is a 30 hour course in basic principles of adult learning, instructional design and classroom management.  It is intended to provide Licensed Massage Therapists and other interested professionals with a basic foundation for teaching the adult student.  This course fulfills the requirement of DSHS for Adult Learner Theory to become licensed as a Massage Therapy Instructor. (Approved for Texas CE's).

Massage cupping, based on an ancient technique, is a modified version of the common practice of cupping therapy.  By creating suction and negative pressure while manipulating the soft tissue, massage cupping can release rigid soft tissue, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bringing blood flow to skin and muscles.  This technique can be used to assist a range of modalities from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue release.  This class will introduce the participant to the theory and actions of massage cupping, the tools used to perform the technique and the basics of using the tools safely and effectively. (Approved for Texas CE’s)

This class consists of two parts—a review to prepare for the written exam and a review to prepare for the practical exam.  Each review may be taken separately.  The review for the written exam is 4 hours and includes a survey of areas covered on the exam, a sample exam and suggested focus of review study.  The review for the practical exam is 4 hours and includes a review of the requirements, procedures during the exam and a guided routine to practice for the exam.

This program in OmniKiReiki™ takes you through the entire Japanese and Usui systems of reiki, as well as Egyptian, Tibetan, Karuna Ki, and other modern forms of reiki. Upon completion students will be awarded the title of Reiki Master.

Level I
This two day workshop is for anyone interested in learning the basic principles and techniques of Traditional Usui and Japanese Reiki.

During this workshop, students will:

• Learn ways to heal themselves and others
• Learn Traditional Japanese meditation
• The Principles of Reiki
• Treatment protocols for multiple imbalances
• To utilize KI energy to promote health and wellbeing
• Experience ancient initiation and attunement
• Experience higher meditative states
• Exchange Reiki treatments in class with classmates
• For students pursuing certification, an additional out of class assignment will be included.

Level II
This two day workshop continues to build on the principles and techniques learned in Level I with additional techniques included. Advanced meditation and atunements will be introduced and case study included.

For students pursuing certification, an additional out of class assignment will be included.

Level III
This two day workshop continues to build on the principles and techniques learned in the previous levels while incorporating alternative techniques such as Egyptian, Tibetan and Karuna techniques.

For students pursuing certification, an additional out of class assignment will be included.

Level IV
This workshop completes the student’s path to Reiki Mastery.  Building on the principles learned in previous classes, this workshop prepares the student to be fully comfortable and competent in providing Reiki healing and training.
