Anam Cara – A Womyn’s Circle of Self Discovery

Anam Cara, which is an Irish term for “soul friend”, is a community of womyn embarking on a journey of self-discovery through exploration of archetypal powers. Each meeting, through facilitated activities and a supportive community, we will explore attributes identified through archetypes and the manifestation of these attributes in our daily lives.  We will have the opportunity to identify those which are familiar and comfortable and learn and experiment with some that are new and challenging.

The group meets twice a month for 9 months followed by a weekend retreat. Meeting times for the circle is 6:30-9:30 pm the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Group participation is closed to new members after the second meeting. Cost is $15.00 per meeting. Cost of the retreat is determined several months before the date of the retreat.  New groups start each January.

Remarkable Women’s Conference

The Remarkable Women’s Conference was created to fill a void in local conferences by providing support for corporate and entrepreneurial women to create vision and success in all aspects of their lives. The goal of the conference is to provide a space for women to meet, connect, showcase their businesses and attend first rate breakout sessions and keynote addresses. The Conference empowers women to grow their whole person and includes amazing speakers in the categories of Corporate Success, Entrepreneurial Success, Personal Development and Health and Wellness.  This conference is held over three days in June and includes a Friday day long Intensive, a Saturday night networking event with free appetizers and a cash bar, a comprehensive trade show open to the public, twenty-five break-out sessions and a keynote address.
