Family, friends and caregivers for those experiencing cancer are often uncomfortable and at a loss as to what to say. During my journey through cancer, I experienced this numerous times. When people become uncomfortable, they may pull away out of a fear of saying or doing the wrong thing, or not doing the right thing. I found it helpful to share some suggestions that would make it easier for them and for me. I put these suggestions together in a 2-page handout. It is a wonderful reference to help all of us as we walk with someone going through the cancer experience. Please feel free to download the pdf and share the handout. Just please attribute the information to me.
